He Shall Come into the World to Redeem His People He Shall Come into the World to Redeem His People CHRISTMAS The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ holds the purpose of “the convincing of [all people] that Jesus is the Christ” ( title page ). Each prophet testified of Him. The Brother of Jared saw Jesus’s Spirit, as He was before He was born into this world. Nephi witnessed His mortal ministry. Samuel proclaimed signs of His birth and death. Nephi and Jesus’s other disciples kneeled before the Lord and felt the prints from the nails in his hands and feet and the gash in his side.
