Not My Will, but Thine, Be Done, by Harry Anderson

2 Nephi 5:6 Nephi departed with all those who believed in the warnings and revelations of God, and hearkened to Nephi’s words. The Lamanites did not believe. The family feud was continuous.

Nephi 10:20–21Jacob taught the covenant people to always remember that the Lord would never forget them, so they mustn’t forget Him.

20 And now, my beloved brethren, seeing that our merciful God has given us so great knowledge concerning these things, let us remember him, and lay aside our sins, and not hang down our heads, for we are not cast off; nevertheless, we have been driven out of the land of our inheritance; but we have been led to a better land, for the Lord has made the sea our path, and we are upon an isle of the sea.

21 But great are the promises of the Lord unto them who are upon the isles of the sea; wherefore as it says isles, there must needs be more than this, and they are inhabited also by our brethren.

2 Nephi 9:7 They had the promise of an infinite atonement (so do we). Wherefore, it must needs be an infinite atonement

Doctrine and Covenants 1:15–16 We are also warned in our day to remember the Lord and keep our covenants with Him.

How does knowing that the Savior atoned for you cheer up your heart?

2 Nephi 10:23 Therefore, cheer up your hearts, and remember that ye are free to act for yourselves—to choose the way of everlasting death or the way of eternal life.

The Lord is merciful to His people and will fulfill His covenants.

2 Nephi 6–8

Jacob quoted from Isaiah to show to his people that they were part of the House of Israel and the Lord’s covenant people. That message is also for me. My parents made covenants with the Lord; I was born in the covenant; and I have made covenants with the Lord myself; making me part of the House of Israel and also part of His covenant people.

These chapters (6-8) will help you recognize answers to the following questions:

Chapters 6-8:

·        What do I learn about the Savior’s redeeming love for me? What words or phrases express this love especially well?

6:6-7 The Lord will gather, nurture, and redeem scattered Israel.

6:18 Everyone will know that He is our Savior and Redeemer.

7:2 His arm is stretched out still to save us.

7:4-5 He wakes us every day and gives us a renewed opportunity to follow Him.

8: 3 The Lord will comfort Zion; make her blossom; her inhabitants will be joyful, thankful, and sing.

8:4-5 He has already redeemed the world. We can trust in His strength and power.

8:6 His salvation is forever. His righteousness will never end.

8:7 Of all people, the children of Israel should listen to the Lord. Turn to Him. If the Lord is with us, we don’t need to fear anything or anyone else.

8:12 12 I am he; yea, I am he that comforteth you.

·        What does the Savior offer to people who seek Him?

6:2 Priesthood blessings, leaders to teach them.

6:17 He will contend with our enemies. He will save his covenant people.

6:18 Everyone will know that He is our Savior and Redeemer.

7:7-9: The Lord will help, support, and justify those who follow Him. He is always near us.

8:3 A beautiful and safe place to live. Reasons to be thankful and sing praises.

8:4-5 Salvation, the strength of his arm.

8:11 11 Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy and holiness shall be upon their heads; and they shall obtain gladness and joy; sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

8:20-21 Priesthood leaders reared up to serve Israel. Though they will be killed, they will rise again for all to see.

8:22 The Lord always pleads the cause of His people.

·        What can I do to more faithfully “wait” for the Savior and His promised blessings?

6:11 I can work and pray for the restoration and the gathering. I can pray more. The prayers of the faithful will keep us from destruction.

6:13 Wait for and wait on the Lord.

6:14 Believe on Jesus Christ.

8:1-2 Remember your heritage. Look to the Lord.

8:2 Remember your parents, your people, your heritage. Remember the Lord. Remember His goodness and your covenant relationship with Him.

8:3 I can do better about building up Zion. How can I make my surroundings more beautiful and help the people to feel like rejoicing and singing?

8:4-5 Hear and hearken to the Lord. Wait upon Him. Trust in the strength of Him arm. (Be patient, steadfast, and immovable in following Jesus.)

8:7 Trust in the Lord; turn to Him.

8:11 Choose to be among the redeemed of the Lord.

8:17 Wake up.

8:24-25 24 Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

25 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, sit down, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

Jesus Christ saves me from sin and death.

2 Nephi 9:1–26

Do you appreciate the Atonement of Jesus Christ? What blessings have you received because of God’s gift of His precious Son? What would have happened if we didn’t have the Savior? (See Notes in chapter 9; 2 Nephi 9:1–26)

Why do we need the Atonement of Jesus Christ?

2 Nephi 9:8O the wisdom of God, his mercy and grace! For behold, if the flesh should rise no more our spirits must become subject to that angel who fell from before the presence of the Eternal God, and became the devil, to rise no more.

2 Nephi 9:11–15, 20–24 Look for the whys and the hows of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. (See notes in chapter 9)

Look for Jacob’s exclamations, such as “O how great the plan of our God.“ (See, chapter 9 notes; verses 8–20)

What have you learned about Heavenly Father’s Plan?
How has that increased your gratitude?

How Great Thou Art What other hymns help you express your love and adoration for the Father and the Son and the great gift that you’ve been given?

Atonement of Jesus Christ

“As the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself” (John 5:26).

Only He could redeem us from our sins. God the Father gave Him this power.

Helaman 5:11And he hath power given unto him from the Father to redeem them from their sins because of repentance; therefore he hath sent his angels to declare the tidings of the conditions of repentance, which bringeth unto the power of the Redeemer, unto the salvation of their souls.”

The Savior’s Atonement is infinite.

2 Nephi 9:7

2 Nephi 9:7 We needed an Infinite Atonement. Nothing else would work. We couldn’t save ourselves or each other without an Infinite Gift. God gave us the gift of His Perfect Son, in His perfect likeness, who left His throne of Godhood to atone for us and help us overcome the effects of sin.

What makes the Savior’s Atonement Infinite? Even though it’s infinite in its reach, it is personal to every one of us. How does it make you feel to know that the Savior’s sacrifice was worth it to Him and to His Father to save just you?

What phrases in 2 Nephi 9 help you feel grateful for what the Savior did for you? (See notes in chapter 9)

For kids:

Jesus Christ is my Savior.

2 Nephi 9:6–10, 19–24

2 Nephi 9:21–22 21 And he cometh into the world that he may save all men if they will hearken unto his voice; for behold, he suffereth the pains of all men, yea, the pains of every living creature, both men, women, and children, who belong to the family of Adam.

22 And he suffereth this that the resurrection might pass upon all men, that all might stand before him at the great and judgment day.

(See Pit and Ladder activity below.)

How does Jesus lift us up when we fall? How does He help us be clean again when we do something wrong that hurts us or someone else? What do we need to do to receive His help?

Do you know the story of Adam and Eve? What was it like in the Garden of Eden? Why did Adam and Eve have to leave the garden? Who taught them about the gospel of Jesus Christ? Were they happy for the chance to live on earth and learn and grow? Should we be happy too?

Heavenly Father’s Plan is often called the Great Plan of Happiness? Who wants us to be happy? Who wants us to be miserable? What things make you feel happy? What can you do when you feel sad, anxious, or upset?

Adam and Eve were so happy to know that Jesus would atone for them and for their family? Did you know that we are grandchildren of Adam and Eve?

Why did Adam and Eve choose to eat the fruit that was called forbidden? Are you glad that they chose agency, so that we can make choices too?

2 Nephi 9:6–10 Because of the fall, we will all die. But because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we will all be resurrected and live forever. Because of the fall, we will have sicknesses and sadness and make mistakes too; but, because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can all be forgiven of our sins and have peace through the Spirit and happiness in this life, and we can live with God and our families again when we are resurrected.

What do you think about Jesus Christ? How does Jesus Christ’s love for you make you feel?

I Feel My Savior’s Love

For kids:

“My heart delighteth in righteousness.”

2 Nephi 9:20, 28–29, 42–43, 49

2 Nephi 9:49Behold, my soul abhorreth sin, and my heart delighteth in righteousness; and I will praise the holy name of my God.”

When we feel forgiven and have the Spirit with us, we find our happiness in doing good things; and when we make mistakes, it hurts our spirits, because we love Jesus so much and we want to do what’s right.

Play stand up/sit down or red light/green light for good versus bad choices.

When have you felt happy because you made the choice to follow Jesus Christ?

Why are we happy to keep the commandments?

We love having the Spirit with us. We feel happy knowing that God is pleased with us. We believe in His promises and want to do what is right.

Good and evil don’t change and we can’t afford to mix them up.

If we are faithful, we will be blessed. Being faithful means keeping the commandments, too.

Why is it important to exercise our faith, even when we don’t understand everything?

2 Nephi 9:20, 28–29, 42–43

I can come unto Christ and follow God’s plan.

2 Nephi 9:27–54

2 Nephi 9:6, 28 Notice the contrast between God’s merciful plan and the devil’s cunning plan. Our Father’s plan is motivated by His great love for us. Our Father’s work and glory is to bring about our salvation and exaltation (see Moses 1:39).

Satan’s work is one of deception. He seeks to thwart the work of God. He wants us to forfeit happiness and freedom.

2 Nephi 9:27–52 Look for warnings and invitations that Jacob records which give us more understanding into our Heavenly Father’s plan of happiness for us. (See notes in chapter 9.)

What will you do after having read Jacob’s warnings and invitations? How will this help you hold to the rod?

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ can bring me joy.

2 Nephi 10:20, 23–25

Jacob declared unto us a message of joy:

2 Nephi 9:3 Behold, my beloved brethren, I speak unto you these things that ye may rejoice, and lift up your heads forever, because of the blessings which the Lord God shall bestow upon your children.

2 Nephi 10:20, 23–25 What cheers your heart in these verses?

We have agency!

23 Therefore, cheer up your hearts, and remember that ye are free to act for yourselves—to choose the way of everlasting death or the way of eternal life.

We can be saved through the grace of God!

24 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, reconcile yourselves to the will of God, and not to the will of the devil and the flesh; and remember, after ye are reconciled unto God, that it is only in and through the grace of God that ye are saved.

Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we will all be resurrected. If we are faithful to Jesus Christ, we will also gain eternal life.

25 Wherefore, may God raise you from death by the power of the resurrection, and also from everlasting death by the power of the atonement, that ye may be received into the eternal kingdom of God, that ye may praise him through grace divine. Amen.

What can you do each day to help you remember God’s love for you and the sweetness of His perfect plan?

John 16:33 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Jacob recounts Jewish history: The Babylonian captivity and return; the ministry and crucifixion of the Holy One of Israel; the help received from the Gentiles; and the Jews’ latter-day restoration when they believe in the Messiah. About 559–545 B.C.

Vs 2 Jacob was called of God and ordained after the manner of His holy order, which means that he held the Melchizedek Priesthood. (At this time, only the tribe of Levi held the Aarnoic or Levitical Priesthood.) He was consecrated or set apart to teach by his brother Nephi.

Vs 4 Jacob wanted to teach His people truth: things as they were, are, and are to come. Then he says that Isaiah's words are true.

Vs 5 Isaiah's words should be of particular interest, because they were recorded for you.

Vs 6-7 Israel will be restored and nourished. I know some of this has happened, but the world is in turmoil; so, I think some of it is ahead.

The Lord will gather scattered Israel, and He will nourish them through other people.

Vs 9 The Jews at Lehi's time were scattered; afterwards they went back and Jesus came. After Jesus's crucifixion an resurrection, they were scattered again.

Vs 11-12 Israel will be gathered again, and righteous Gentiles will also be part of gathered Israel.

They won't perish because of the prayers of the faithful.

Vs 13 The people of the Lord wait for Him.

This is a scripture with a lot of hope and promise for all of covenant Israel. We should not become weary in doing good; but keep our faith and focus fixed on the Savior.

Vs 14
Be believing. Christ is coming again, and the time is not far off. No one that believes on Him will be destroyed.

Vs 15 The wicked will gain a testimony of Jesus in their destruction and in the preservation of the righteous.

Vs 16-18 The promises of the Lord our sure. He will save His covenant keeping people. Everyone will know that Jesus is our Savior and Redeemer.

Jacob continues reading from Isaiah: Isaiah speaks messianically—The Messiah will have the tongue of the learned—He will give His back to the smiters—He will not be confounded—Compare Isaiah 50. About 559–545 B.C.

Vs 2 Even though we've gone astray, the Lord hasn't changed. He will deliver us when we turn to Him. His arms are stretched out towards us. As we reach for Him, He will save us. He has all power.

Vs 4-5 Even when I'm wearied, the Lord wakes me every day and gives me a new chance to listen, to hear, and to follow.

Vs 7-9 We need to remember whom to turn to. The Lord will help us. Always. He is always near us.

https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/8?lang=eng

Jacob continues reading from Isaiah: In the last days, the Lord will comfort Zion and gather Israel—The redeemed will come to Zion amid great joy—Compare Isaiah 51 and 52:1–2. About 559–545 B.C.

Vs 1-2 Look to Jesus. Remember that you are children of God and children of the covenant. Remember that you are sons of Adam and daughters of Eve. Remember that you are the children of Abraham and Sarah.

Vs 2 Remember your parents, your people, your heritage. Remember the Lord. Remember His goodness and your covenant relationship with Him.

Vs 3 Zion described. This is the Zion that we want. What am I doing to help build up Zion in my home, in my ward and stake, in my community? Do better.

The Lord will comfort Zion's waste places (like San Bernardino). He'll make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found there, also thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

Vs 4-5 Listen and give heed to the Lord. He'll give us His law and make judgment to rest for a light for the people.

He has already atoned for us. His righteousness is near; He's already saved; He'll judge fairly; Those who wait upon Him can trust in His arm.

Vs 6 His salvation is forever. His righteousness will never end.

Vs 7 Of all people, the children of Israel should listen to the Lord. Turn to Him. If the Lord is with us, we don’t need to fear anything or anyone else.

Vs 11 Choose to be among the redeemed of the Lord. He can make it so.

11 Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy and holiness shall be upon their heads; and they shall obtain gladness and joy; sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Vs 12 12 I am he; yea, I am he that comforteth you.

Vs 15-16 There is no comparison between the Lord and our adversaries. His might and power are great.

Vs 19-20 There are two that will visit Israel (perhaps Apostles). Although they will be smitten, they will rise again for all the world to see.

Vs 22 The Lord alway will raise up those to help His people. He pleads for the cause of His people.

Vs 24-25 24 Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

25 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, sit down, O Jerusalem; loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

Activities from Study Sections:

2 Nephi 9:1–26 Do you appreciate the Atonement of Jesus Christ? What blessings have you received because of God’s gift of His precious Son? What would have happened if we didn’t have the Savior?

2 Nephi 9:11–15, 20–24 Look for the whys and the hows of the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

Because of the merciful plan of our Creator, Heavenly Father provided the way for our Salvation through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, whereby we might be brought back into His presence and have Eternal Life.

We needed the Atonement of Jesus Christ because we all make mistakes and need forgiveness. We can be sanctified as we follow the Savior and find grace through Him. We can be free from death and punishment because of our Father’s Plan and the Gift of His Son.

verses 8–20 Look for Jacob’s exclamations, such as “O how great the plan of our God.“
O the wisdom of God, his mercy and grace!
10 O how great the goodness of our God, who prepareth a way…
13 O how great the plan of our God!
17 O the greatness and the justice of our God!
19 O the greatness of the mercy of our God, the Holy One of Israel!
20 O how great the holiness of our God!

2 Nephi 9 Which phrases help you feel grateful for what the Savior did for you?

2 Nephi 9:27–52 Look for warnings and invitations that Jacob records which give us more understanding into our Heavenly Father’s plan of happiness for us. (See notes below, beginning at vs 27)

Jacob explains that the Jews will be gathered in all their lands of promise—The Atonement ransoms man from the Fall—The bodies of the dead will come forth from the grave, and their spirits from hell and from paradise—They will be judged—The Atonement saves from death, hell, the devil, and endless torment—The righteous are to be saved in the kingdom of God—Penalties for sins are set forth—The Holy One of Israel is the keeper of the gate. About 559–545 B.C.

Vs 1-3 I have been excited since I was a young child about the building up of Zion and the Lord's Second Coming. I am so glad that the prophesies were talked about and recorded. It give us much hope, especially in today's world.

Behold, my beloved brethren, I speak unto you these things that ye may rejoice, and lift up your heads forever, because of the blessings which the Lord God shall bestow upon your children.

Vs 4 We will all be resurrected!

Vs 5-7 Jesus willingly died for all, so that all might live through Him. Heavenly Father's merciful plan allowed for the power of the resurrection.

Because of Adam's and Eve's and our own transgressions, because of the fall, we are separated from God and will die; but because of the atonement of and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we can all be brought back into the presence of the Lord and live!

Heavenly Father chose Jesus to be our Savior, because the Atonement needed to be infinite.

Vs 8-14 I am so thankful because of Father's love and His Son's love, we can all be resurrected through Their grace and mercy. Because Jesus rose, we all will.

O the wisdom of God, his mercy and grace!

10 O how great the goodness of our God, who prepareth a way for our escape from the grasp of this awful monster!

11 And because of the way of deliverance of our God, the Holy One of Israel, this death, of which I have spoken, which is the temporal, shall deliver up its dead; which death is the grave.

12 And this death of which I have spoken, which is the spiritual death, shall deliver up its dead; which spiritual death is hell; wherefore, death and hell must deliver up their dead, and hell must deliver up its captive spirits, and the grave must deliver up its captive bodies, and the bodies and the spirits of men will be restored one to the other; and it is by the power of the resurrection of the Holy One of Israel.

13 O how great the plan of our God! For on the other hand, the paradise of God must deliver up the spirits of the righteous, and the grave deliver up the body of the righteous; and the spirit and the body is restored to itself again, and all men become incorruptible, and immortal, and they are living souls, having a perfect knowledge like unto us in the flesh, save it be that our knowledge shall be perfect.
14 Wherefore, we shall have a perfect knowledge of all our guilt, and our uncleanness, and our nakedness; and the righteous shall have a perfect knowledge of their enjoyment, and their righteousness, being clothed with purity, yea, even with the robe of righteousness.

Vs 15-16 We all need to choose righteousness now. When we come to the final judgment, things will be final. The final judgment will take place after we are resurrected and become immortal.

Vs 17 God's words and his law must all be fulfilled.

17 O the greatness and the justice of our God!

Vs 18-22 The obedient and righteous will be saved and inheret the kingdom of God. We could never get there without Jesus. Grace is a gift because of Their mercy.

19 O the greatness of the mercy of our God, the Holy One of Israel!
20 O how great the holiness of our God!

Vs 23-24 Everyone is commanded to repent and be baptized and endure to the end, or they cannot be saved in the kingdom of God.

Vs 25-26 Jesus Christ's atonement will cover and save all those who do not have the law given to them. His grace is sufficient for everyone born without the law.

Warnings and Invitations:

Vs 27 A wo is pronounced. Since we have the law and the commandments given to us, we will be left without an excuse if we choose to not keep them. (When we recognize our errors, we should repent and return to the Lord.

Vs 28-29 The devil tells us half truths and blatant lies. If we depart from God's counsel for such foolishness, we will perish.

It's good for us to study and be knowledable, if we hearken to God's counsels.

28 O that cunning plan of the evil one! O the vainness, and the frailties, and the foolishness of men! When they are learned they think they are wise, and they hearken not unto the counsel of God, for they set it aside, supposing they know of themselves, wherefore, their wisdom is foolishness and it profiteth them not. And they shall perish.

29 But to be learned is good if they hearken unto the counsels of God.

Vs 30 A wo is pronounced to the rich who despise the poor and do not offer them help.

Vs 31 A wo is pronounced to those who deliberately will not hear the word of God. They will perish.

Vs 32 Another wo pronounced to those who refuse to see; who deliberately seek something else.

Vs 33 A wo to those who are uncircumcised of heart. Their thoughts, desires, and deeds are unclean.

Vs 34 Wo to the liar. Our God is a God of truth. Liars cannot dwell with Him.

Vs 35 A wo to them that deliberately kill, for they will die. I think that this also pertains to those who deliberately pull people away from Jesus.

Vs 36
Wo to them that commit whoredoms; they'll be thrust down to hell.

I'm so glad that repentance is possible because of God's grace, if we have faith in Jesus Christ, repent, are baptized, receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and stay on the covenant path.

Vs 37 Wo to those that worship idols. They devil of all devils delights in them.

Vs 38 This life is a time to prepare to meet God. Wo to those who die in their sins.

All these warnings should give us pause to reflect and to see to change those things which we know need changing.

Vs 39 SMILE = Spiritually-minded is life eternal.

39 O, my beloved brethren, remember the awfulness in transgressing against that Holy God, and also the awfulness of yielding to the enticings of that cunning one. Remember, to be carnally-minded is death, and to be spiritually-minded is life eternal.

Vs 40 Give ear, and remember the greatness the Holy One of Israel.

Vs 41-42 Give heed and remember. The prophets speak the words of Christ. We need to be humble enough to follow. Faith on Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, receiveing the Gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end was and is the prescribed plan for happiness. This is the Doctrine of Christ, and the only true doctrine of the Father.

Vs 44 44 O, my beloved brethren, remember my words.

Vs 44-45
We are beloved. We need to remember, repent, and prepare.

45 O, my beloved brethren, turn away from your sins; shake off the chains of him that would bind you fast; come unto that God who is the rock of your salvation.

46 Prepare your souls for that glorious day when justice shall be administered unto the righteous, even the day of judgment,

Vs 49-51 Put God first and serve Him. Delight in Him and put off the natural man. Do good.

Listen to the words of President Nelson. Break free from the chains of addiction. Turn to the Lord for your comfort and sustenance. Think Celestial.

Vs 52-53 We are beloved. Remember the words of God. Pray unto Him. He will bless you and protect your children.

52 Behold, my beloved brethren, remember the words of your God; pray unto him continually by day, and give thanks unto his holy name by night. Let your hearts rejoice.

53 And behold how great the covenants of the Lord, and how great his condescensions unto the children of men; and because of his greatness, and his grace and mercy, he has promised unto us that our seed shall not utterly be destroyed, according to the flesh, but that he would preserve them; and in future generations they shall become a righteous branch unto the house of Israel.

Jacob explains that the Jews will crucify their God—They will be scattered until they begin to believe in Him—America will be a land of liberty where no king will rule—Reconcile yourselves to God and gain salvation through His grace. About 559–545 B.C.

Vs 2 The Lord reaches out to us in multiple ways, multiple times. He wants our salvation. He's paid for it.

Vs 5 We shouldn’t just blame the Jews of the past for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Many crucify Him anew for the same reason that they did: unbelief, priestcrafts and iniquities.

Vs 7-8 The gathering commenced even before the 1st Vision part of the restoration, and it continues and is accelerating.

Vs 10-14 This is so promising. He that fighteth against Zion is going to perish. The Lord will preserve this land and our nation. He has promised that it will be so, even if that means he'll destroy those who are seeking the destruction of the United States and other countries and people.

Let's pray that forgiveness is possible; and if not, that the swift judgment of the Lord will preserve the patriots and disciples of Jesus Christ.

No kings, but the Lord Jesus Christ.

Vs 15-17
We are blessed because of the covenant, and the wicked will be destroyed because of the covenant.

Those who fight against Zion will be destroyed.

Vs 16 He that fights against Zion is the whore of all the earth!

Vs 19 The inhabitants of this land are supposed to worship the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. He is the God of this land.

Vs 20 Rejoice. God knows you and He will not forget you. You are not cast off.

Vs 23-25
What are you choosing? What did you choose this day? Who are you choosing?

Choose Jesus, and choose eternal life through Him.
